Bird brained behavior

OK, so I’m a nature nut.  I feel connected to God when I’m outside, connected to something bigger than my puny self and more powerful than whatever has pummeled my thought/emotional life for the past 8-10 hours.

I love my back patio with its tall hedges and views of the treetops in the wash that borders my property.  About two months ago I hung a basic red hummingbird feeder on the hedge, purely out of faith since I’d seen no hummingbirds hanging out in the vicinity recently.  Within hours I had at least two birds hitting the feeder regularly.
